Carbon dioxide is a major green house gas with human made carbon dioxide being the main contributor to global warming. With global warming melting earth's ice caps, raising earth's sea level, inducing desertification, worsening hurricanes, and more, we humans have an obligation to create a future in which earth's children can inherit the same planet we’ve enjoyed. To fix this problem, we can turn back human made carbon dioxide in our atmosphere by capturing and concentrating it from the air, then sequestering the carbon dioxide back into the planet.
Our process at TerraFixing allows carbon dioxide to be captured directly from the air with a technological advantage to capture carbon dioxide at the lowest price, with scale. This is the main goal of TerraFixing. Affordable low cost scalable direct air capture of carbon dioxide: an actual solution to global warming.
Unlike capturing emissions from single point sources like coal fired power plants, our technology captures CO2 directly from the air. This Direct Air Capture (DAC) captures CO2 produced from all industries which will be particularly useful in the future for hard to decarbonize sources like aviation, residential heating, and cooking. Other than capturing today's emissions, DAC can also capture previous emissions which are present in our atmosphere, effectively reversing global warming.

Finding the Ideal Location
In order to make direct air capture a solution to global warming, ideal locations must be selected. These ideal locations for our technology are places where the weather conditions are cold and dry, are located near a sequestration site, and have an underutilized clean cheap abundant energy source.
Cold dry climates include Canada, Norway, Alaska, Russia, Finland, Greenland, Tibetan plateau, Atacama Desert, and Antarctica have optimum conditions for our process. We pair them up with potential clean cheap abundant energy source include wind power, hydroelectricity, small modular nuclear reactors, or geothermal, we will be able to capture CO2 for the lowest $/tonCO2. After capturing the CO2, we will be sequestrating the CO2 on site into the earth in one of the many potential sequestration sites that scatter our globe.
